Energy efficiency strategy

Fossil Free Sweden’s strategy for energy efficiency will focus on how a more efficient use of energy can contribute to the realization of the roadmaps for fossil-free competitiveness.

The Swedish goal is a 50 per cent more efficient use of energy by 2030 compared to 2005. By 2019 the reduction was 29 per cent.

The strategy aims to identify the obstacles for reaching the goal and to analyze how digitalization can be used to develop energy efficient solutions.

The strategy will be developed in a dialog with companies in the energy efficiency sector as well as companies with a big energy consumtion and will be released in the autumn of 2022.
